Hey, nice concept! But looking a little empty…
Hope, you’re going to add lot of detailes. Keep it up!

I think this is some really wonderful stuff, you’ve got a real gift!
Both versions are very interesting. I would almost want a mixture of both renderings as a final. I love the “ghostly” feeling of the secong one, and I love the electrifying feel of the first. If you combine them into ghostly electrifying then I think you will have a winner.
Also, I think the audience would like to see more of the ship in the second draft. That scene would work great in a film because it would slowly move in, but in a still shot you might want to see atleaset 75% of the ship.
These are just thoughts of course, not necessities. I am sure your work will be remarkable nonetheless.
Keep it up!

really like the second one,
maybe you could add something that gives us a little hint of what happened to the space station?
really nice though, I’ll be back…
SWEET! Great designs and color schemes! I do have to say athat I prefer the portal/gate from the first one better, looks like some sort of evil castle in space it’s really cool!
this one alot nicer feel imo…
have an idea to run by you on the second image…see what you think. Tell ya later

Dude…your concept sketches are beautiful! They by themselves are a piece of art!
I like both of them so much Im having trouble deciding which one I like best. But if I have to decide, I would go with your second one. I like the perspective better on that one than the first.
When this is all said and done and the contest is over, Id love it if you could make larger resolutions of these concept sketches. Would make an awesome desktop!
Looking forward to seeing this one progress. Please keep em coming!
I like these concepts. Great approach, it would be nice to see somethign else happen in the background other then the station and the huge ship. BUt where you are right now is great
I also like the feeling and mood and this being communicated here.
Thanks again everyone,
Ill post more concepts over the next few days. I agree that the second concept really needs to have more too it…something that shows what exactly happend to the space station. So far i have a couple ideas, just need to start drawing them out.
Both of your conepts really are lacking. You have the two large focus points, but the rest of the image is taken up by emptie space. Might want to think about adding more of a story, and give your images more motion.
I agree with marmot, nothing says opera like more sphere’s and perhaps some POECAGE Jeeps going into the wormhole. ( Stunting ). Seriously dude, you inspire me to be a better artist. Nice work.
Heres another variation on the previous concept…this time with a bit more action. A swarm of creatures flow out of the destryed space station and attack a passing ship.
C&C?
Its a good concept, but the swarm of creatures need to be a different color then the ship. When I first saw it without the description I thought it was the ship being ripped apart and the pieces drawn towrds the spacestation.
I’m looking forward to seeing this all come together. Kinda like the layout of the bluish images though, leads the eye very well.
your second to last one was way better than this last one imo…
really startin to come together with that. Darko totally disagree with you on the color thing. I think it works really well with dark silhouettes. Tonally it works great and if he can do what hes done with a limited color palate, I think it works great and feels more spacey…again just my take on it
Thanks for the comments guys. I think Im going to go with a mix of the last image and the second to last. Possibly add some escape pods into it to help tell they story of people trying to escape. One more concept should do it.
great concepts. i agree with using a mixture of teh last and 2nd to last one… i think it should be more of the 2nd to last one then the las one… especialy the colors. thats what I think : )… or maybe combo of both the colors… it would go well together… eh anyway. cant wait to see how this one progresses.
