sweetness XD gl everyone.

As the greatly work-intensive person I am (coughs) (coughs again) I’ve been up to some ideas and sketches (wich I’ll post when I get my hands on a scanner :))

  1. Scene from the middle of a city, with way above it stuff blowing up, people dying and whatever.
  2. Epic Combat w/e
  3. about 1 but from a space-station or something :]
  4. about 3,…hey wait it’s the same as 3
  5. A kind of ‘silent’ combat with a major force leaving destruction with futile resistance or w/e

anyway, back to the paper, I’ve only got 91 days left! \o/

simmular too the idea i head to make an army of space drones fighting next to the smaller manned spacecraft

although mine will look somewhat differently :x

also had an idea about worker drones
repairing the damage done while the battle rages

I’ve been doing some thinking again.
The -most- stereotype of scene here would be a fight in outer space around a spacestation, asteroids or w/e with a beautifull planet or 2 in the background.
obviously with it come various types of ships (battleships, destroyers, frigates and intercetors -as you could expect-).

Now, in my eyes being sterotype (or stereotypeD) is a bad thing (except for if you stereotype non-stereotypes,…w/e) so I’m thinking of a ‘battle’-ish scene that should be diffrent from a battle as we know today (loads of ships of various classes vs. another load of ships in diffrent colours).
Though it’s going to be hard stick with this plan, there are some rather non-thrilling ideas (not worth mentioning).
Any ideas or feelings about this? Do you people -really- want something that’s going to be similar to everything else, or something diffrent that might be original but not coolish?

Cool concepts. I look forward to seeing more of your developed ideas.

U bring up an interesting point. Finiding originallity in this genre is sort of difficult.
Maybe just think of over the top things.
A sterotypical thing of space operas is big ass space battles with ships planets ect. SO maybe think out side the box and like have no ships or something. I would like to suggest better ideas but I got nothing lol. Go me. Well I have one… BUT ITS MINE!! MOOOHAHAHAHHA!

I have no idea how I got the idea for this ship, but yesterday night it suddenly popped in my head.
anyway I’ve decided to do some sketches in 3dsmax, here’s the first one.

hey PreatORiAn nice concepts… i like ur way of thinking… i agree with most of the ppl… finding originality in this theme is hard… but the thing to do is caprute a unique aspect of the opera that most of the people overlook… thats the best idea i can giv ya… hey i like ur drawings and the last block model looks good to me…love to c some cool concept arts from u… :thumbsup: :bounce: :applause:
