Hey Wiro, Grant here. Sorry I missed you at last week’s party. Glad you’re in the challenge. Really looking forward to seeing what you produce mate!
Hope to catch up soon.
Grant
I’m just playing with ideas, not quite sure yet about the setting. I definately want to stay planetbound but I’ll be exploring a desert and maybe rock setting too. Depends on the colourscheme and composition. Landscape or portrait? Will try and squeeze in more doodles tomorrow.
Holy…
Posts, and I’ve not even started!
Thanks all, you do realise that you’re pressuring me into finishing this
gjpetch: glad you say you’re taking a backseat on this, hehe.
Duddlebug: good to see you’re entering. How’d the Milo project go?
Unitstudio: dude, where were you!? And where’s your entry? This should be right up your alley.
I was out watching Collateral so my entry is a bit late. Sketched the above pics at work (ahem) and a little at home…about 30-45 mins each. I’m not that fast on the Wacom
They feel a little kitchy maybe. I really don’t have any specifics in my head yet, just trying out different things.

Just toying with ideas? It seems like you’ve got a tyobox brimming with ideas.
These are very sweet indeed. The palette and compositions read so well already. I’m interested in hearing more about the background to these images.

It’s there man, in the 2D section. I’ll stick to 2D - I simply don’t have a hope in hell of competing with you in the 3D section
