Grand Space Opera 3D Entry: Angel Nieves

amazing… sorry, but I cannot think of some constructive critique:shrug: it’s just perfect to me:)

#162

This might seem like a small update but those upper arm sleeves took an aweful long time to model. The only reason I’m dedicating more attention to this guy is because is the second most important character.

Hey, thanks arturro

#163

man… I’m impressed with this stuff. I wouldn’t have so much patience to model such thing:) did you used some cloth simulations? or modeled it from from a simple shape…?

#164

hey nice clothing, very confortable, tha is lke the jedis clothes. and the models…

#165

hey nice clothing, very confortable, tha is like the jedi’s clothes. and the models…

#166

Very nice design, I like the shadows in the clothes.
Also the color is great.

Man! Those clothes look awesome. Modeling is excellent! And the surfacing is real good too.

#168

Well done SnowS…I know you’re LW’n it…keep up the good work…this is comming along so well…

#169

Thanks for all the nice comments guys, is very encouraging since it is getting very late for me. There is tons of stuff still to do.

arturro, I modeled that out of a single plane, extruded, pulled and push vertices. No cloth simulation.

#170

didn’t have much time to work on this during the weekend but this is what I have so far.

#171

THIS THREAD IS AMAZING!THE CLOTHING IS AMAZING!ARE U CRAZY???HOW MANY CHARACTERS U HAVE HERE!!!W O W!!! Im…surprised…my congratulations!

#172

THIS CLOTH IS PERFECT, NO CRIT !! KEEP GOING!!!

#173

Took a break from modeling and started texturing. Here is the first one.

#174

Just a small update, I thought the red top was too bright… like this one better

#175

top quality work! congratulations. Only the end of thos top part(with changed color) needs some twaking. Some tiny errors in geometry are visible, or maybe my eyes are crushed by this challenge(to many hours stearing in monitor:))

#176

Hy SNoWs,

First I have to say, I don’t like the texture of the head. But that’s not ver important instead of these clothes! They are amazing! It looks very realistic with these textures and modelling!

Go on, and good lucj with the challange!

here is another texturing job…

#178

Hi Angel, your modelling and texturing is just GREAT … very inspiring …

Keep going with this nice work …

#179

What ar eyou doingto get the fuzzy feel of the clothes…fresnel.

Thanks everyone for all the c&c. Appreciated.

-OZ- I think I have managed to make 7 characters. I might make one more… dunno yet.

Julez4001, for all the clothes I have added a small bump, and an incident angle gradient on the luminosity channel.

arturro, what you mention might be a bit of texture stretching or it could be a low subpatch level. I’ll look into it.
