amazing… sorry, but I cannot think of some constructive critique:shrug: it’s just perfect to me:)
Grand Space Opera 3D Entry: Angel Nieves
This might seem like a small update but those upper arm sleeves took an aweful long time to model. The only reason I’m dedicating more attention to this guy is because is the second most important character.
Hey, thanks arturro
man… I’m impressed with this stuff. I wouldn’t have so much patience to model such thing:) did you used some cloth simulations? or modeled it from from a simple shape…?
Very nice design, I like the shadows in the clothes.
Also the color is great.

Man! Those clothes look awesome. Modeling is excellent! And the surfacing is real good too.
Well done SnowS…I know you’re LW’n it…keep up the good work…this is comming along so well…
Thanks for all the nice comments guys, is very encouraging since it is getting very late for me. There is tons of stuff still to do.
arturro, I modeled that out of a single plane, extruded, pulled and push vertices. No cloth simulation.
THIS THREAD IS AMAZING!THE CLOTHING IS AMAZING!ARE U CRAZY???HOW MANY CHARACTERS U HAVE HERE!!!W O W!!! Im…surprised…my congratulations!
top quality work! congratulations. Only the end of thos top part(with changed color) needs some twaking. Some tiny errors in geometry are visible, or maybe my eyes are crushed by this challenge(to many hours stearing in monitor:))
Hy SNoWs,
First I have to say, I don’t like the texture of the head. But that’s not ver important instead of these clothes! They are amazing! It looks very realistic with these textures and modelling!
Go on, and good lucj with the challange!

Hi Angel, your modelling and texturing is just GREAT … very inspiring …
Keep going with this nice work …
Thanks everyone for all the c&c. Appreciated.
-OZ- I think I have managed to make 7 characters. I might make one more… dunno yet.
Julez4001, for all the clothes I have added a small bump, and an incident angle gradient on the luminosity channel.
arturro, what you mention might be a bit of texture stretching or it could be a low subpatch level. I’ll look into it.
