Ok here is the backstory, no art yet cause I’m at work… Most all of the entries so far (including my own in the 3d section) are all about battles, so for this one I thought why not have something after the wars are done?

Setting:
Two worlds have been at war for centuries killing millions of inhabitants on both worlds and disrupting both political and ecconomic activities for everyone involved. Finally both sides are weary of the struggle and two leaders step forward to broker a peace deal that will include ending hostilities and opening up trade routes between their planets.

The scene:
Two leaders shaking hands (or signing documents etc…) in the foreground with a huge window overlooking a grand cityscape in the background. Ships are floating by outside ferrying goods from one part of the city to another. Security details for both parties stand by looking warrily at eachother. In the distance fireworks are going off and father still, off into space, is the outline of another planet.

Hey, thanks for critique-ing my thread.

You have a good idea going. Try to consider many possiblities while you’re still in early stages. The idea of two opposing sides brings to mind is epic and architypal, what would happen if there were three or more sides? Two sides and a group thats not a nation? internal conflict within a nation/ empire?
