It’s going to be about a war of independance.
The federation of ‘the Belt’ is a group of Nations inhabiting the larger astroids of the ring surrounding the planet of Fenris. Originally from the planet the people of ‘the Belt’ want independance. This is triggered by the economic dominace of mining and trade resources by the ‘Central Body’, the gouvernment of Fenris. Money is flowing to the planet and not to the people of ‘the Belt’. After long decades of poverty ‘the Belt’ started a revolt. They began the revolt by stopping and hijacking trade ships enroute to the planet. A swift response from Fenris was assured.
Well, Im not a good storyteller, but this is the idea… it’s a start

Hey Im so sorry to hear that! My boyfriend came home from medschool and stated that he would never want to get kids due to all the risks in the pregnancy.

I tried to find a design for the flags of both sides. Just a first step to establish an identity for both sides.
Well I did a bit of thinking about the look of both groups.
This is what I got for now.
Since Fenris has a lot of recources, their ships and equipment are in tip top condition.
For the Fenris ships I will draw my inspiration from modern jets like the stealth fighter or F-22.
The Belt on the other hand don’t have that much money and are dependent of 2nd hand Fenris fighters or fighters they’ve developed, but which are less advanced.
Their look will also be that of the rugged and used sort in contrary to the sleek and fast look of the Fenris fighters. My inspiration for the Belt Fighters will come from 50ies Fighter jets.
I hope to post some concept drawings tomorrow.
I don’t try to think about the composition right now, just trying to establish the elements that will be used in the compostion.

I did some quick design sketches for some ships. Not very happy, but hey this is a start
These ships don’t look much like 1950’s jetdesign that I was looking for, but they could be used as designs for 2nd hand Fenris ships. I think I won’t use wings on the Fed. ships, 'cos they are designed to fly in space only, defending the Astroids.

These are Fed. ships. The more aerodynamic fighters will be those of Fenris.
