This is going to be a scene of a battle that’s best described as universe war I. Planet against planet…galaxy against galaxy. That’s the biggest i could come up with.
sketch 1 - hope you like it
I like how you’ve layed out your concept with this scetch…it gives a good feel for how the scene will look…keep going
starting up after being inspired from a whole lot of peps work!
But yea… please tell me what you think of the pic so far.
Got a lot of things need to do, but dont want to get to confortable with my work… especially with all you crazy artist out there.
Thanks in advance!
I agree with jeroentje. a wider range of tones would be more interesting. It would be great if you make the land in the foreground and middle ground light enough so that you could see what the landscape looks like- is it grassy, barren, a forest? maybe you were going to do that anyway before i mentianed it; just a suggestion. good job and good luck!
I like the vary back planet, the perfect glow. Be carfull not to cludder it up to much, but Im sure youll do fine in that aspect
Frontline - Nice work so far! I love the sense of scale provided by the huge planets in the backdrop. I also like how you’ve been shaping up the foreground “pit” area.
Have you tried shifting the ships over to the right at all? They might stand out a lot more as dark shapes against the lighter part of the planet. (Assuming of course that that’s what you want!) I find the top ship a little awkward in that it’s being cut off by the top of the frame. Do you even need that one? Three is a nice golden number, after all!
Anyhow, good luck with it!

frontline i agree with walrus, but maybe there is another way: let the ships fly diagonally from left bottom corner to upper right, maybe it does some good. anyway great scene truly epic scale.
Looking good. The only thing that bothers me is the planet/moon behind the spaceships. It somehow looks too close. Perhaps you could make it seem farther away by reducing the contrast and saturation a bit. The red clouds and the aligned spaceships look great. Keep it going…
Hey man.its great!! But i Agree with andreasrocha, work a little bit more on the moon…
I like the translucence in the planet (moon?) on the left. I am not sure I like the vericality of the three central objects. The seem to dominate everything else.
