hi
becouse this is my first post/thread/challange here i’d like to introduce myself.
My name is Jeffrey , i’m 17 years old now and still going to school ( 12th grade), with arts als one of my two main courses.

I’ve allways be interrested in Arts of all kinds and been drawing all my life. And since i saw all the amazing paintings on this site i’m really facinated by painting on the computer.
Never done anything as big as this challange but i think it will be a great experience ( and a good training).

Good Luck to everyone.

This is the first image that came to me.
A great and beautiful city beeing attackt by evil forces.
This will as i think only be the concept for the main atmosphere.

Next steps planned:

  • Concept with another perspective & a main character (on his way to end the war/ save the girl [ don’t know yet  ])
  • Concepts of buildings, vehicles, soldiers

looks good so far. keep it up and would like to see some more refined conceptual work.

youve defiantely got a good composition going mate, looks cool. I cant wait to see how it develops. Goodluck

I like the idea of juxtaposing the beautiful city with the ugly war, but it’ll take some careful planning with your color scheme and composition to make it work. I look forward to seeing how it progresses.

this first sketch is great. would love to see this more developed. maybe a desaturated, almost muddy cloud rushing into the cityscape like a fast moving storm to help connect the two colorschemes perhaps? i want to see more. keep it up.
