fantastic work!:eek: nothing to crit.
just waiting you composition
I really like the chrome effect you had going a few images back. The effect was lost when you tried to bring up the level of detail I think. Look at old WWII bombers with their aluminum skin (pre-paint-job, obviously) and see what I mean. If you get close to those planes, there are tons of rivets and seams and all sorts of things to pay attention to. Just a suggestion (aerodynamically speaking, it makes sense to see fewer details too).
Another thing I’d watch out for is the brightness you’re working at right now. With chrome, softer lighting really makes the reflections look better. Harsher lighting is better for situations where you need it to pick up the details that a shinier material can do with less light.
I say this because I love what you’ve got going so far and I really think the vehicle rocks! They are only suggestions from somebody who couldn’t do this well already anyway ![]()
Vehicle = the awesome!
Now to make it sit nicely into some sort of scene that communicates “epic” and you’ve got a sure winner!
Absolutely awsome ships!
They certainly look all of same technology (Airtonians If I recall well)…
The coloring is great and the last composition too!
I definetelly want some more
I think your image can’t be concept sketch , it can be final image!!! awesome detail and coloring!!
I agree with Monsit, what a detailed and beautiful pic!! I hope you will make the final entry just as beautifull (or can you do even better… runs away scared :D)
Well ! If that pict is a concept sketch, what will you do for your final composition ??? A 3D ride, with shaking seats and dolby surround ??
Your ship is nice, and the sky and the lanscape really promiss !
nice effect with the sun that passes out of sight behind the rock))
and good colors i think
Self taught…:applause: I really like the colouring so is this the composition or is this just part of it?
I really like the colour contrast´s in the scene. Maybe you could add some weapon detail´s under the ship? To give the bottom more technical detail.
