Thanks to all for writing! Well, I’ve been a bit busy with work, and awaiting a break to start :bounce:
This is the story I’ve thinkin’ of:
PRELUDE
In the beginning, the human beings couldn’t take control over the overpopulation, and misspent the resources on earth, they just thought in their immediate needs, inciting the extinction of great part of flora and fauna, provoking huge deserts and droughts, diseases and wars. Science and technology tried to adapt the left-over life to this situation… There were new order, new social organizations, and new ambitions. They had to colonize the space.
Some centuries after, there were planets specialized on farming and animal breeding (with few rescued plants and animals from earth and modified genetically to supply the nutrients needed for feeding), extraction and search of water (moons: Europa, Ganymede, Callisto), search of resources (for industry, energy sources), and for population. This last kind of planets need a great preparation: from the creation of atmospheres proper for living to social structures.
But problems instead of getting fixed, they just extended to space scale. All efforts carried tons of wars, inequality and discords.
Humans thought that it would be easy to find new planets, but it was never true, beyond solar system and few casual discoveries, there were no hope, until…
THE MATTER
In this subdivided spacial crowd with subdivided knowledge, a group of dedicated erudites, scientists, etc, came to the conclusion that the humankind would be extinct, for they dependence on their technology and at the same time the lack of understanding about it. Social chaos was always there, but the conditions would lead to a trap.
They decided to create a new civilization to guarantee the permanence of human beings. The main scopes for this new community were going to be:
Now, the only problem was to find a planet like once the Earth was (or create it), and protect it from the actual decaying civilization.
THE PARADIGM
I’ll continue later with the rest of the story…
WOW! what a complex story/scenario.
I am reminded of an exchange which took place between Dr. David Suzuki and Timothy Leary, on a long since defunct Canadian TV talk show. Timothy Leary presented a idealistic visionary view of mankinds expansion into and colonization of space (perhaps akin to his ideas of using LSD to “expand the mind”). Dr. Suzuki responded that before we (humans) look towards the conquest of space, that we should get our own house in order (Earth).
I look forward to seeing where you take your ideas! You seem to have put alot of effort into the story. The story has a strong moral appeal.
I Look forward to seeing further development of your submission in this competition! Good Luck!
Repeating what I wrote…

hey i like your story and the concet you have is amazing maybe a little more wrekege in the back or something. i cant belive you havnt gotten more feed back youre coming along nicely i cant wait to see what you come up with next keep it up
Hi all! thanks for writing,
I’m happy you like the story. I have more but I will only write when I get a good sketch…
About the sketch… It doesn’t have nothing in common with the story at present, and I accept is regular, cero perspective
, but I hope I will do something different…
Soon I will have more time to come up with something better, I just wanted to publish the story by now…
THE PARADIGM
Note: the knowledge (tech, science, etc) was not universal for all, not shared.
After many decades, thw PHP (Paradigm Human Project) found a planet, it was baptized “Terra II”.
It took another decades to analize and prepare it. There were preparations too for the new army that would protect the new emerging civilization. This army would be composed by mech-life (intelligent spacecrafts and robots) and procedurally cero bio-life.
In the colonization process, there was a group of people that had the mission of acting as “ancestors” while the “baby crowd” had time to grow.
…I’ll continue latter…
About the sketch: just playing…
I like the last on, I think the planet is not very well placed, I wold have make it a lot bigger, and more faded with the sky. It looks too close, like something in the sky and not far far away
In the story, this ship is called ‘TGA (The Guardian Angel)’. It’s mission is to fly around to make people think that they are protectors, while the real ones are far away… This angels are supposed to be another kind of living beings that surround the dangerous sky, but they are just robots… or A.I.spacecrafts…
for some reason,i can tell you love the sky,so go for the sky ,make it a big part of your illustration
happy new year
Hi, thanks for writting and happy new year to all!
