Grainy Reflections

Can anyone help me with the grainy reflections I get when I use the chrome mat. I tried increasing the glossy samples and got no improvements. I am using photometric lights to cast reflections and think that they may be causing the grain. Any recommendations?

yeah looks like the shadow sampling on the portal lights is too low

Also, you could bump up the glossy reflections precision in the render globals. When test rendering reflective objects it’s a good idea to change the environment colour fom black. Or use a .hdr image.

try to interpolate, and set higher samples on the shader !
