GoZ alphas and Maya quick selection sets



How do I bring in a Goz object (with alphas masks/on layers) that can automatically be set as “quick selection sets” in Maya upon import?



just use the Paint Selection Tool and load the map as an Attribute Map:

And yes, I’d like to see it in script form also, if you don’t mind.

Also, what way would you recommend “sending” an object to zBrush (via GoZ) with alphas (or selection sets) that zbrush would see? (Unless its just the reverse: to use textures in Maya as selections? I was thinking of something other than textures though). (If you understand what I’m trying to say).
