LadyAkuma - Heeee
yes, that bottle is interesting, isn’t it? Good golly, I’m so happy that some notice the position of his hands, and the bottle, I spent so much time trying to portray feeling in the way he cradles that thing  I guess my hard work wasn’t entirely wasteful, yay!

Samanthie - Thankee!

Lothlorien - Aw, thank you <3

sh@ke - thank you kindly :}

beelow - aw, thanks :] My colour palette usually sways in slow shifts towards one tone or the other. I think I am slowly withdrawing from the warm saturations that Spoiled left me with, and moving to something else. What, I don’t know quite yet.

Ehsan d - Thank you :]

Rblitz7 - hehe, thanks!

Michael Chang - Thank you very much :]

Cyborgguineapig - thanks!

Badsight - Oj, sure - I don’t have one at work now though. What are you looking for, 1200x1600? I can’t really release anything bigger, as it’ll start being print sized after that

Augustus - haha, aww, give me the wacom? Mine is starting to fall apart.

C cco - Thank you.

Gmax - aw, hush you. I don’t want to be responsible for creating any gollums

Liangcee - thankee! :]

Seccad - haha, lots of stars  thank you, I’ll make a blanket out of them and curl up and sleep. Sweet, sweet sleep!

Warpyy - thank you :] Admittedly, I worked part in painter for this one though ;]

Jacob L. - haha, thank you - but be glad I don’t  If I did, the world would be all Burtonesque with big black cats invading everyone’s homes. Perhaps not an ideal planet.

Phew! That was it! If I didn’t respond to someone, it was because I missed it - not intentionally. It was just SO many replies to keep track on. Again, THANK YOU everyone for your kind and thoughtful words.

Wow!, I don´t know what to say that hasn´t been said already, only that your skills move on another dimension. I have been waiting earnestly for anather of your masterpieces. You put so much love on each of your works…all I can do is try to do something completely different in my own style, learning from you of course. I think you have reached the top of the scale. There are not enough stars…

Your paintings are precious as jewels… I’m really amazed by your work and it’s so emotional… his face is so sweet.

Thanks for your tips…

Linda, I was just wondering which program you used for creating those skin ‘pores’? Was it a combo of both? I also like the fact that you made the figure ‘sexless’ if you will, as it can be either a man or a woman, very cleverly done (if that’s what you were going for).

Additionally, I’d really like to thank you for the tutorials you have online at your website. I’m working on a piece right now, and I applied the ‘skin tutorial’ to it, and it made a huge difference; I learned a whole lot about colors, making them pop out and such, and that wouldn’t be possible w/o reading that tutorial. So thank you for that.

Great work, take good care.

Edit: Why haven’t you received a CG award for this? Unacceptable I tells ya!

Amazing !
5 stars fome me aswell.
Love the detail on the bottle!

I’ve been looking at your work a while ago … and each time I stood there amazed by your poses and the way you draw the human nature with its hidden and undeclared desires, thoughts and many feelings … believe me it talks by it self … and I give you a lot of credits for your clean execution … but definitely not stylish one … it’s very nice but a machine work … and I wish to see your ideas executed differently by you.

Oh it was probably just wishful thinking on my part :stuck_out_tongue:

#94

bloody hell, how much patience does it take to paint something like this?

#95

I’ve been follow your career for many years, and I never post on your threads, no special reason for that.

It’s very nice to see how you have evolved, and start to master the tools and techniques.
This piece is special in that way, so many time there waiting to see the light, like the wine, this was the time for it. Great mood, exquisit technique… I hate you!!! :argh:

joajaojaoajoajaoajoajoa… just kidding

Hey Linda!

You know you do delicate beauty so damn well!

I saw this pic yesterday, but I tend to feel a bit lost commenting on your work - the pages fill up so fast!

I think it made me laugh - it’s like every time you post a new piece you raise the bar just that little bit higher. It’s quite humbling and makes me want to work that little bit harder! I hope one day people will look at my work and feel that same sense of awe.

Hmm… looks like I’m going to have to shell out for a new book! I’m sure it will be a masterpiece - you’ve been working on it long enough! Ballistic must be rubbing their grubby hands in anticipation…

Keep it up!
