Gnomon School of Visual Effects

I am considering going to Gnomon: School of Visual effects, In Hollywood CA. Have any of you been there and have any thoughts on the classes there. I’m a father so finding the free time outside a curriculum to better my 3D modeling and animating knowledge is very hard. I really need a curriculum and guidance to help me learn Maya, 3ds max, rigging skinning and animating. Gnomon looks like an amazing place to go.

I’m currently in the navy and i’ll be able to use my POST9/11 GI bill to assist with fees. I love modeling and drawing and seeing my imagination come to life. This is definitely what i want to do after i get out of the navy. Gnomon looks seems like a good place to get guidance. Either Gnomon or SMU: Guild Hall.

I’ve never attended Gnomon but I hear nothing but good things from that school. I wish I would of went there instead of Ai, but that’s just me. My friend went there and his quality of work improved significantly.

I know this is 3 Years later, but i wound up going to AI as well. Gnomon didn’t accept me. Your friend must have some skillz!
