Gnomon Is Deceiving?

#1

Recently I bought three Gnomon Workshop Tutorial DVDs such as below link:

http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/store/category/295/

http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/store/product/1014/Fundamentals-of-Perspective-1#.VLgKYNKUc7U
http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/store/product/1016/Fundamentals-of-Perspective-2#.VLgKYtKUc7U
http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/store/product/1019/Fundamentals-of-Perspective-3#.VLgKaNKUc7U

The reason I bought these tutorial DVDs is because they show the perspective illustration on the webpage which I thought these were the projects which were include in the tutorials:

However, after watching the tutorials, these are not the projects!

They are only some small projects inside the tutorial different from what it was showed on the webpage, and it’s simpler and easier.

I feel I was being deceived and waste my money.

If you have an issue with the products you purchased, I suggest you contact Gnomon directly instead of coming here to complain about them.

Also, Gnomon usually gives a breakdown of all chapters in the course, a selection of sample images from the course, and a preview video/excerpt from the course. I usually do some research before parting with my cash…

This is a fact of life. It’s like buying a traveling dvd with a beautiful girl on the cover, but you then watch 2 hours of the video and couldn’t find her anywhere.

I remember when I was about 8 years old and looking at one of my Dads biker magazines with pictures of lovely biker babes sitting on $35k motorbikes, my old grand uncle looked over my shoulder and said “the girls always cost extra”.

Thank you, I just spilled my coffee laughing

You may have made a bad purchase in your opinion, considering what was advertised wasn’t the reality so I’m sure some people appreciated the heads up.
