Glut window border ?

I was wondering that when creating multiple windows in glut by using glutCreateSubWindow, if there is an “automated” way of creating a border for those windows as well?
I dont want to manually draw lines or anything, just a grey border like that of the main window, so as to look like a different viewport.

any clues on how to do that?
