Gimp Topic in Forums

Since Blender is in the forums. What about having Gimp as well?. :lightbulb

There’s not enough of a user base to necessitate it. As it is, the Photoshop forum doesn’t get a lot of activity. A Gimp forum would have considerably less.

Yep, I do. I think it’s a shockingly badly designed piece of software. An absolutely pale imitation of the far, far superior Photoshop.

But that’s not the reason why we don’t have a forum. We already have a number of forums for apps that I don’t like.

Well let us know why you think it is a shockingly badly designed piece of software, so these issues can be brought up to the Gimp developers. Also keep in mind that Photoshop CS5 Extended is almost a grand in price, so I would hope for that grand I got the best of the best and the kitchen sink. Not everyone can afford Photoshop, hence why in the same light some use Blender over Maya.

I’ve already posted numerous comments about what I find lacking in Gimp on this site. I am not going to repeat myself. Suffice to say, it’s just a weak piece of software with an appalling interface.
