ghost shaded mode silo 3d

Hi Everyone,

Why does the cut function not work in the ghost shaded mode?
It only work on the verticies but not on a surface in the middle for instance.
In Maya and 3ds max it can.

I just tried in 2.5.4 and had no issue using the cut function.

I tested on my most recent model in the middle of an area. It cut if I selected polygons or verticies.
