Let’s Get Started!

       1] read up on Dominance War III [like [rules](http://www.gameartisans.org/contests/events/3/rules/index.php) and the [submission process](http://www.gameartisans.org/contests/events/3/submissions/index.php)].
       
       2] look at all the [beautiful prizes](http://www.gameartisans.org/contests/events/3/viewprizes/index.php)! 
       
       3] create a W.I.P. thread right here on CGSociety [in this forum](http://forums.cgsociety.org/forumdisplay.php?f=234).  name your thread like this...
    
       DWIII - 2D/3D - YourCGSocietyUserName - TitleOfYourCharacter
   
       
       4] [register](http://www.gameartisans.org/forums/register.php)at GameArtisans, then sign up for the [DMIII challenge](http://www.gameartisans.org/contests/events/3/team3/view_entries.html).  This is where you will link you CGSociety thread with the DMIII challenge.
       
       5] start posting some sketches and ideas
       
       6] visits other CGSociety DMIII entry threads and comment/critique each other... we are fighting this war together!
 
 7] add a link to your DMIII entry in your signature!
 
 8] when talking to strangers, tell them your wear the colors of the CGSociety and we will prevail in the 3rd Dominance War.

Insignia and Colors:
Your character must possess your team’s colors and/or your team’s insignia (if your team has one). If you don’t have the colors or the insignia located somewhere on your character, your entry will not make it into the top 50. Please represent your team properly. This is a team event so make your team proud![link]

Now, you can do what ever you want with the logo and/or colors to fit in with your entry. you can dirt up the logo, not have a background, show just some of it, only use 2 of the CGSociety colors… up to you guys.

How many entires can I have?

Only one submission allowed (one 3d and one 2d) per contestant.

Can my character also carry other weapons or can he only have the "Artifact Weapon"?[b]

[/b]As long as you have the Artifact Weapon coverd, you can add any other weapon you wish… and it doesn’t have be an element. it could be a regular axe… nothing special.
