Getting started on Machines

#1

Hi I am a beginning artist who has just got the hang of drawing organics. But I want to start on Machines but there is no drawing machines book I can find, maybe I am looking in the wrong places…?

Organics have anatomy books and muscles which I have spent a lot of time on. But is there anything that I can get started on?

There are anatomy books because all living creatures have similar muscle/bone sytems that can be studied, but with machines, you can build them to look like anything, so other than learning about perspective and depicting surface properties (glossy, rusty, plastic, metal…etc), machine can look like anything. It’s just a matter of knowing what you want to depict, and then doing some research for references, and off you go.
