Getting back into modelling again, but moving from Max to Maya


HI All,

been out of the 3d industry a long time and getting back into again. I’m currently working at an animated feature film studio as an IT bod but hopefully going to help out a little.

I used to use the shift drag of edge method on an editable poly in Max and windered if there is that kind of workflow in Maya as well. Also, does anyone know of any good explanations or tutorials about moving over froim Max to maya and the differences. I’ve already signed up to pluralsight and watching standard tuts but wondered if there were others closer to the subject i’m looking for.
