i have a character that has wings. for simplicity sake and as to not go crazy i have brought each part of the wings and each feather(there are like 50) in as a separate obj. i put bones in each one. so far so good.
question 1. when i mirror the skeleton and the wings. skeleton is fine but the mirrored geometry stays in the same place as the original geometry. i try scaling it in -1 on the x axis. it does nothing. what is up with that?
question 2. i could just bring in the geometry already mirrored from the modelling program. but how would i get the mirrored skeleton to effect it is the question.
i really don#t want to have to bring in each feather and it’s mirrored conterpart as a seperate .obj and then use the replace function. anybody have any suggestions.
also…can armatures and expressions be mirrored?
