Generate shapes by meshes

#1

Someone give me two perfect replica of a head. but both have a different shape (same UV, same numbers of points)

How do I copy this shape on the other?

my guest would be to grab Gator and transfert the shape from Head2 to Head1.

Or maybe: Animation/Deform/Shape/apply shapekey or something like that?

I think it’s Animate/Deform/Shape/Select Shape Key and pick the other head.

Do a seach in the help files; it’s explained well in there.

#3

not sure I understood your problem , but what about shrink wrap? shrinkwrap one head to the other, if your points IDs are different in both heads.

#4

Drag and drop the shape map from one head’s shape cluster to the other. Done.
Shapes are just per-point properties indexed by a cluster, if the topology is the same, the properties are signature compatible and can be dragged and drop. This applies to most things in XSI.
