gamma question

Hey, I am about to upload my final entry in the fantabulous B movie contest and have a question about gamma. I am still working in a 1.8 (mac) gamma workspace, and am wondering how to assure that my final will have the proper contrast for perusal and display. Normally, I am uploading jpg’s that photoshop will adjust for the web, but the contest requires a tiff. Should I adjust for 2.2 gamma, or is embedding an icc profile going to do the trick? Thanks in advance!

Don’t embed an ICC profile - just make sure your image is optimised for 2.2.
