I have some free time and I thought i’d join in on the fun. I’m late in the game but i’ll do what I can.
Character: Scrum
I would probably put this guy in a top-down RTS or RTS/FPS like that of the likes of Savage! Scrum is a Barbarian Iron-Clad Mindless Killing machine. When not destroying civillian settlements he enjoys the reading daily paper and playing ball with the boys.
Ok hrmm… Moving along. I added some armor. Fixed the hands.
I believe im pretty close to laying out the UV’s. I’m kinda sketchy about creating the gloves in the concept now, for fear that I will have geometry collision during animation. Maybe I will just outline the upper part of the gloves and leave the stringy, pointy things out. Any suggestions? or Critiques?

Cool, I like the color tones in the textures, very nice. One thing though, the texture on his boots looks a little off. I’m guessing it’s supposed to be metal? Maybe go for a more old, rusty metal look? Just a thought.
I am actually still working on the textures. The boots and some other pieces only have the base color on them. The current textures aren’t goin to be my final textures. Only what I could finish for the contest deadline. I will post my finished textures up when I am done.
Ok here is a little more. I have worked a bit more on the textures and I have him skinned up in 3dsmax for animation. Open for Comments and/or Critiques!!
