Thanks alot!

I´ve unwrapped most of the UV:s now…

Awesome job setting up the UVs. Not a lot of stretching going on there!
Can’t wait to see your texture job!
Awesome concept and model. He sort of reminds me of a down and out private eye (especially if you put one of those detective hats on his head). That or some type of henchman. UV mapping looks good but I think you need to take a little look at his shout, it looks like its stretching there and getting smaller.
Layout is completed. Now I´ll start painting. But I´ll need something to eat first

I also found out I had a few hidden faces that i could delete.
So the complete mesh, including gun, sums up to 3960 faces. unless I decide to add some more hairpatches later.
That´s all for now. Bye:wavey:
I decided I would start painting the bump-map. This is what I´ve got so far:

I´ll make a Spec-map too, and a diffuse ofcourse
I’m sorry but I don´t realy understand what you mean…
Do you mean I should use another texture for his shirt?
no no, I meant no shirt at all, the pants is enough, IMO. so he looks more crooked that way.
this is really cool, i gotta say tho although the model is nice it doesnt quite have that grimey lil weasle aura that the concept sketch did… probably when its posed
I agree with ila_solomon, he looks much better without the shirt!!
This character will look great when finished

for your nice coments. I think I´ll stick with the shirt though. Mainly because I´m so lazy, and don´t want to draw anymore fur. It´s so boring
Maybe I´ll have the time to do both versions…
I hope the pose will help, but I too feel that he lacks that attitude that he has in the sketch.
Gonna work some more now, bye :wavey:
I know this ain´t much of a update.
I´m just gonna say I wont be able to do any work on this in a couple of days. But hopefully I will have some time later on.
Till then :wavey:

Reduce the faces on the trigger and the little thing (hammer???) that you pull back by about half know body will ever see the difference in a game.
Like I said earlier
actually I´ve removed some from the trigger allready
And obvioulsy you didn´t notice, so you were right
And also like I said before
as long as I can keep it under 4000, there´s realy no need to strip any polygons
Over and out.
love the concept and model
1 thing i want to pick at… is the length of the barrel of the gun make it longer it just aint big enough
RasTuS: That is a easy fix
I´ll see what looks best in the end.
Here´s a little update. I´ve started painting some diffuses…

sweet mother of all that is good and pure. this is greatness, indeed.:buttrock: :buttrock: :buttrock:
