Hi Ivars. All excellent work. But something is really missing… “mustache” … I mean animal mustache, sensitive hair around the nose. How many polys do you have left? 3 hair on each side would really be cool! … or opacity map it…
I really like the texturing, well and the model of course, but i like the efficent use of the texture maps. im still learning texturing but that looks great:thumbsup:
m@. I completly forgott :argh: And I only have 3 faces left…
I guess I could make it some way, but than I´ll have to redo the physique and that would be a major pain in the ass, and I don´t think I would make it on time :banghead:
Anyway, thanks for the comment
Thank you all!
S U P E R B !
u don’t need to change a thing.
if u want to put mustache, just delete some faces from the tail.
you will have all my 5 scores

Thank you!
Yeah that tail is rather heavy.
Here´s a cheesy wire-shaded-texture-turn-kinda-animation

just great !! He has character , and both the mesh and the textures are great ! The colors are definetly a lot better aswell !
Did you place the alpha planes for the tail randomly ?
Cheers ! and goodluck !
Just wanted to come in and give you my two thumbs up on a nice job well done.

Funny guy,nice mesh,nice texture work.Very nice effort.
thanks.
ckaos@om: That depends on how you see it. There´s really no system in the placement, but I´ve put alot of effort in to it, just trying to give it the right volume.
really have to congratulate on the nice work. he’s a beauty. hope you win, and see you at the voting both tomorrow, perhaps.:applause:
Wow… utterly Amazing.
great concept, great modeling, great texturing, great poses, great animation. You got it all!
I have one question though, how the hell do you get the seams in the texture to get totally invisible. No matter how hard I try I can’t find a single seam in your model. Is it only a lot of hard work in Photoshop or do you have some kind of special secret? No matter how hard I try I can’t get my seams to disappear.
I usually try matching the UV-seams with actual seams in the texture (ie. the seam along his side) Otherwise it´s just alot of hard work in photoshop
Great work Ivars! I could tell from the offset that you were going to be my best competitor! Now we’re neck and neck for most votes, only 5 points between us!
Eeek, it’s close!
Good job, by the way, yours has quite a bit of character to it!
Good luck!

I always liked this character, from the time you had it posted in the 2D section. You have done a very nice job, from start to finish.
