Game Developer (Software Engineer) - Centerscore (San Mateo, CA)

As a Game Developer, you would help design and develop cell phone games (single and multi-player) with our engineering team. Your responsibilities when developing a game include understanding client requirements, creating design documents, architecting implementations, developing the game itself, integrating graphic, sound, and networking assets, and finally, working with QA and Release on getting the game to go live. As part of the team, you will also help define engineering infrastructure that will impact future projects, as well as handle R&D responsibilities on future technologies.

Requirements:

  • Ability to develop in both C++ AND Java (Minimum 2+ years of combined professional experience)
  • Strong networking/threading skills (Minimum 2+ years of professional networking experience)
  • Experience in application development, GUI, memory management
  • Must be able to demonstrate and implement good OOP design
  • Must love games. Must demonstrate either significant hobby game development, or professional experience

Extras:

  • Working knowledge of Java internals
  • J2ME,BREW experience
  • Experience designing and implementing a multi-player game server
  • 3D development experience
