As a Game Designer, you will need to manage and maintain multiple projects at once. It will be your job to flesh out and refine game concepts as you work directly with artists, developers, and testers to conceptualize and build innovative titles on the mobile platform.
Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with the Lead Designer to define and refine game design
- Manage development and art resources in a project
- Drive and maintain schedules, and monitor resources across a project
- Work with and function as a liaison between other team leads to ensure game design fits within the parameters of the project
- Tune and balance game play
- Level building and game scripting
- UI layout and flow
- Documentation and maintenance of documentation
- Perform game research and analysis of competitive products
Requirements:
- Strong ability to communicate ideas through documentation, sketches, storyboards, and mockups
- Ability to conceptualize and design fun and intuitive concepts within strict parameters
- GUI design skills and strong aesthetic sense
- Word, Excel, Wiki, Adobe Photoshop experience, experience with source control
- Strong management and organization skills
- Ability to multitask and follow strict technical guidelines
- Scripting experience and programming fundamentals
