Game Art from NTE: Strike and Retrieve *warning big images
Great work, reminds me of the original, excellent Unreal1 and UT99 artwork, it just has that artistic style to it. Love the jellyfish and the lighting effects on the ships.
Do you have time to post a rendering of a low rez model + the normal map, without the texture? It would be cool to see the comparision of high rez to low rez + normal map.
Thanks for posting, it’s nice to see how the pros do it.
I dont have any to say , Just could say “SUPER COOL” .I can`t bleave they are ral time rendered image .Goodluck man …![]()
Woahhh…impresive work!!! you work in concep, modeling, texturing …all faces of this wokr are great!!! congratulations!!! :applause: :applause: :applause:
Excellent work there! Would you be able to describe the methods you used for uv mapping? This is what really interests me!
Really good, congratulations with the front page, your work deserves it for the great texture, modelling it has.
Pretty sweet. It will provide our Navy with some much needed practice in killing giant angler fish and piloting personal submersibles with plasma weapons.
Those unwraps are impressive and the machine designs are very nice.
good job,
henningk
holy schwepps! when i saw that first Unwrap i thought to myself “good luck texturing that if it wasnt your model” =]
superb work!
Jeez, will you guys quit with all the fawning? The guy has a big enough head as it is! Of course he didn’t say anything about how bad the UV packing was before we cajoled him into re-doing it…
OK, before I get flamed, yeah he did an “OK” job.
You can d/l the game here. Just be aware it needs the latest PC gaming hardware to run (hey, we only had 6 months).

Here’s a cool video of the game.

But Eric, ass-kissing is what this forum’s always been about. Am I right?
Seriously, though. I know making games is a “group” effort and the quality of work is vastly pushed in an individual with people behind him/her cracking the whip.
Going to play the game now
Looks a lot like Aquanox. Not sure how it’s going to “train” me to be in the Navy, but if that’s what the Navy’s like, sign me up.
