Here is the image:

I have´nt done much lately.
Im still not pleased with the hands, but Im consentrating on the texture at the moment.
Probably I will make it a little more painted in the end, it looks a little booring at the moment. A cartoonish touch might lighten it all up!?

Your textures are looking great. I agree though that a slight painted, cartoonish look would give your model some more character. I also think the feathers on its hands look more leathery than feathery. Keep it up!
what can I say it’s “apaihto” in greece means pretty much as wonderfull. Well done Isa!
The hands are feathers right nice idea.
Keep up the good work
i really like the work you’ve done so far Isabelle…
yea i also think that a more cartoonish touch would liven it up…
also must agree with dacheese with the “apaihto”…
Looking very nice isabelle. Very cute indeed
I’m looking forward to seeing the total texture.
I have to say I like the second hand you did better then the first one. The second seems more bird like.
And maybe you could do with an edgeloop around the shoulder, it looks like it might deform weird when she lifts her arms.
Great job anyhoo!
After a time of doing other stuff I´ve done some mayor work and have the finish line in reash!
I remodelled the hand to a more humanlike, standard, shape. I´ve added a ribbon. AND I´ve worked on the texture.
Just for you, I took some snapshots and put them together so you can see for yourself. Judge me kindly…
For those of you interested, I have a work-in-progress image of my texture.
Its in scale 1:1 and shows details of the texture as it is now and how it looked earlyer.
I´ve used a lot of colours in the dress.
It may look blue but in the shadows and highligths there are, in the latest version, a lot of other hues. Differnt browns, turqoise, purple, a green…
I also keept the texture quite “ruff” in some places. Its easy to overwork details with all those layers, and infinite nubers of undos, available.
Then you gets something perfect but lifeless and to smooth that screems computer made.
And I want my texture to look vaugly painted and aquarellish. Like a Beatrix Potter illustration. : )

Wow!
Looks excellent! Really nice porportions, superbly painted texture (especially the cloth folds) and a really nice overall look.
Are you a good 2d artist because your cloth texture looks really nice. It looks a bit too painted in my opinion - maybe smooth it off a bit, but as you said above, you wanted a hand painted kinda look.
Great work! Probably the most complete looking entry so far.
Well done!
WOW Isabelle this is truely some beautiful work. I love the concept, very different. best of luck…
Thank you!
Andy H. I dont do much 2d-graphics acctually. But I did start with 3d, and computer graphics because I love to paint and draw. And I still do some work on paper or in clay.
: )
Mindrot: Well I love what I´v seen of your work to. Especially the zoombie. (I´m a lover of horror novells and have a weak spot for the monsters…)
Hi,
I know it might be too late for me to be suggesting modeling ideas since you’re already texturing, but how do you feel about an opening in the back of the dress for the tail to poke out of? it could be a slash running down the middle or something that makes the dress fall over to one side? :hmm:
Great work by the way!!
Hey, it’s time to submit your work. Don’t drop out on me. This is a great creative character.
This is bad…I finished several weeks ago, but still manages to miss the final entry…by one day.
Im afraid I just forgot. I´v had some privat problems of the truly frightening kind. It seems to work out for the best (cross my fingers and prays) but it has keept me away from the computer the last week.
Good luck to all who made it, and thanks for your helpful coments!
Hmm. I do however see
Well, even if I missed the competion i can ipload some more images for the curious. I havent done anything with the model and texture since the latest image. But I dont have anything showing the final wirefram (with the polycount 2071, triangulated)
Here it is:

And this is the texture. The original file is 1024. This one is 512.
But hopefully, you will see enough.

Too bad you didn’t make the deadline.
About the textures, I liked them much more before you messed them up like that, it looks like she’s wearing some kind of rubber raincoat, not a nurse outfit.
I think you would be better off adding some mud, bloodstains and general dirt on it - if you want to keep it rough. Also, try to fix the feathers
The mesh looks good, but I think the fingers might not deform that good. Also, you could have added a doctors bag or something… you’ve got plenty of polys left.
Keep it up, don’t leave it like this.

Everything looks fine to me. The dress is like made of silk.
The whole thing looks like some really hard work.
I think you are the true winner!
