Ok she is at a 2016 polygon count at the moment. I extended the tail alot. think I’ll make it even longer.
I’m making the neck/head look more like the very first sketch i did “topright bust” where the crest extend from the shoulders instead of it coming from the back like in the profile shot. I want her to be able to fold the crest back to normal so it makes more sense and will just look better. I should have that and the hands modeled in my next update.
Overall I think you will like how her back turned out 
as for the outfit, still designing that. I’ll see about getting some sketched up this next week.

it looks nice, good poly flow, but one thing, isnt the competitions limit 3500 TRIANGLES, not quads? please explain i fyou will normal map or how you wil solve this. or maybe im wrong, nbut im pretty sure its triangles
Really excellent - the mesh flow is perfect - especially on the shoulders and back.
However, i think its a bit high poly right now. There are bits that could possibly be optimised without compromising the mesh.
I love the head / mouth!

“Neil” Yes her mouth will be able to open, along with the fangs being able to fold back in 
“yeluis” Yes it is Triangles and the count is now at 2016. I just keep them in quads becuase it looks nice 
“Andy H” yeah the mesh is realy turning out nice. The back area took some work but was worth the effort. As for optimizing I start doing that once the full mesh is completed. I dont plan to go past 2800 for her body/head. I want to have the other 700 polygons for her gear.
Maybe more if i realy get elaborate, depends on where i take here outfit design.
OK I got the head crest done and started with the inside of her mouth. Still trying to figure out the inside but should get it figured out and have the finished hands for my next update.

Ok well I got some time to finish her hands today. Things are going kinda slow with working on her for the moment. I’ll try to have the outfit designed by end of this week though. For now just enjoy the pics hehe.

Yeah i will be rigging her. I already did alot of minor adjustments to the hand last night. but even in that pose it wont take me any extra time to rig.
