Well, I just started this guy and then this contest popped up. So here’s my current WIP so far for him ->

Still trying to figure out some good looking feet on him, the gun holster with the gun, and the cigarettes.

Looking pretty good, if a little blocky in places - whats he from though? I like the design.

Well, he’s from the Todd McFarlane action figure series. Based off some comic book called Sam&Twitch.
You can probably go check out the toy at Toys R Us.com on that Amazon.com website. It’s a pretty cool looking toy, not like the human version but the Undead version of what the character is.
So off I go to keep workin on him. As for blockyness, yep… it’s a WIP. there are some parts that are blocky for him being a game character.

Heh. Toddy boy got some of his good stuff in there. My only disappointment was that the toy is static and not posable.
I’m just reverting into a child again I guess, buying toys for reference material.

I think Sam & Twitch were the 2 cops from the Spawn comics? I’m not sure, it’s been a long time!
I think he needs a little more bulk in his chest. Look at how the holster belt arches up on the ref. I don’t see that in the model.
Yeah, Sam and Twitch were from the Spawn series, and later got their own spinoff comic - not sure if they’d be considered villans though, as they were the cops trying to track down the mysterious murders, of which Spawn always seemed to be in the middle of. They were’nt really heroes, but good guys at least…
Well, though from the Spawn comics they were the cops. So their place was kinda in the middle. But from the figure I’m going from, he looks undead and pretty dern evil too. If not supervilliany enough, I guess I could start on some of the other ideas I got going on.
Anyways, working on tweaking the model a bit more in the meantime. Damn do the hands and feet bother me on the “action figure sculpture”.
Here we go. The Finished bad boy himself! Started playing with the head texture.
Man the new forum software is kick ass. Just I would like it if the message window was a bit bigger to accomidate for people that don’t like looking thru a peep hole. heh
So off to start texturing the bad boy! Maybe even boning the sucker.
Sam and twitch!, heh one of my favorite spawn spin offs, wow and looks very authentic too, your a very good game modeler…
