Could someone please explain to me why my works get declined every now and then for the most unbelievable reasons like “not enough characters in the description”???
I posted 7 new images yesterday - I agree it’s quite a lot, but for the love of God - am I really flooding the forum as written in the explanaition I got via mail??? Only one of my images (BTW all the pictures are a collection of one theme) got accepted! I feel a bit ignored.
Not enough characters usually means you’re not describing your image enough. For a finished piece we’d like to know something about it. Why and how you did it, maybe some behind the scenes descriptions. You’re supposed to give something to the community for the exposure you in turn are given back.
If your pics are all of the same theme or belong together then you can post the main or best one first, then post the rest within the thread (like the recent frontpage feature did)

We limit how much you can submit to the showcase gallery so that everyone gets a fair go, off the top of my head, it’s one image every 24 hours. You may post as much as you like to your regular portfolio.

Wiro - sometimes there isn’t much to say about the painting. It may be an abstract thing and programs used etc. are included in other fields. Besides. When I post sth in the forum I get an instant info - I just can’t post anything that is too short. In case of the gallery I post my work - wait a while, and then I hear that it could not have been posted because there weren’t enough letters in my description. That is frustrating. 
salmonmoose - On one hand you are right but on the other… I haven’t posted anything for a long time and to be frank posting 5 works at once may not give me any advantage - the comments will split into five works, not too many people will want to comment on every single picture from the same kind. Unless you mean - everyone get’s a fair go - t.i. you care that I don’t make my situation worse

WTF (pardon) am I to write? Are they just counting letters. This is stupid. The image is far more important then the description!!!
