Title: ‘G-man: Ray Johnson’ Game Art

Name: Jamie-lee Lloyd

Country: United Kingdom

Software: ZBrush 3ds max Photoshop Quixel Marmoset Toolbag 2

Submitted: 12th March 2015

Recently finished chipping away at this guy. Started out as a zbrush sculpt a while back, but thought it would be cool to work him up as a bit of game art.
Sculpted in Zbrush, retopo and Uv’s in 3ds max, Photoshop and Quixel for texturing. Rendered realtime in Marmoset Toolbag 2

Really impressive, can’t imagine it’s a real time model !

#3

Fantastic modeling and textures! Plugged!

#4

How long did it take U to complete this, sir? So realistic and fantastic man…

#5

what an impressive model and render.

#6

This is really good. Not just for the realism but the sense of character in the… well… character. :stuck_out_tongue:

This is what XCOM: THE BUREAU should have looked like, just hardened G-Men with small firearms looking for UFO’s no one knows are real.

WOW! Cool character! Very realistic! I like his pose and look

#8

Impressive work. One of the coolest 3d characters I’ve seen. :applause:

Great work buddy. Inspiring! Congrats.

Excellent modelling, texturing and rendering. It all looks very natural. The only thing is, the watch he’s wearing tells the time only - what’s the other button for?

#14

Excellent work, the sculpts and the shaders are fantastic!

#15

Maybe you’re too young to remember that watches had a time-setting knob and a winding knob. Many watches didn’t use batteries and had to be wound manually!

#16

As a self-confessed WIS, I have never seen a watch with two crowns that didn’t either rotate an inner diving bezel (like some Vostok divers, for example) or that didn’t set an alarm hand (as in a Seiko Bellmatic). I’ve seen a lot of watches but am curious to see a watch that implements the setting and winding on separate crowns. It would have to be pretty old, and possibly a pocket watch.

THANX MAN that is great.
