That’s an enormous undertaking… 8-O
Z-brush model looks awesome, though.

no, i didn’t. It’s my friend Vincent Grieu raistlin5 (French guy) Btw, he’s working on the last model as well.
I know… lol
While everything looks fantastic, I think this might be missing the point of the competition.
This is supposed to be an establishing shot not a full action sequence.
By throwing in all of these other items, it is changing the scope of the entry. I am not sure if that is good or bad thing, I just think that if you continue on this path, you might put others at a disadvantage because we may be overwhelmed by the pretty stuff happening and all others are doing the simple establishing shot as required.
I have been working myself on this for some time although I have not posted an official thread yet (struggling with Realflow). So I am speaking from a fellow competitor viewpoint.
Just my two cents,
Wade
don’t worry Wade, I’m not sure we ll finish it in time.
We will have so many frames and passes to render :banghead:
we would like to finish it for the end of February.
I think we will have between 15K and 20K frames/passes to render :buttrock:
January 26th.

But I still think you need like, October to finish that project.
Nice sketches. Looking good! Even if you can’t finish it by the deadline, I would like to see it continued and finished. =)
Thanks Roberto, but it would not be fair for the others.
And even a week would not be enough.
But I was wondering if it could be possible to move the topic into the WIP/Animation forum when the challenge finish?
holycause: good idea. That way we can encourage people to keep working on. Even then we can have a WIP comments and grading session.
