Thanks Eric. I appreciate the encouragement.

By way of an update. The final composite is just about done–just small tweeks to go, adding some little things to enhance the effect. Sound is almost done too, so hopefully I’ll be done either end-of-day Friday or Saturday morning.

Hey Everyone,

Well, this is going to have to be my final entry–work is bearing down and it’s going to be a long weekend full of real life so there’s just no more time to work on it. It’s not perfect, but it is done. Below you’ll find an image and several links.

As a final note on this project, I just wanted to say what a great community this is, and the enormously talented group of individuals who worked on all of these Tornado FXWars! challenge entries just blows me away and keeps me very humble. Best of luck to everyone.

Wow! Amazing mate and congratulations. Certainly got my vote :slight_smile: I’m afraid I wont have time to finish my challenge this time round which is really disappointing but I had fun anyway. Good luck and hopefully catch you on the next challenge.

Awesome, awesome work Chris! I had a feeling this would come good, and it didnt disappoint! One thing that i would be most worried about is the touchdown point of the tornado to the ground, but that was probably the strongest thing in your entry which is phenomenal. I will wait to see all the entries, but im totally sold by your shot!
Quality work all the way! Good to see this come out so well.

Thanks, I do appreciate it.

I’ve begun work on a making-of for this shot per some of the previous questions/discussions. I’m swamped at the moment with work stuff, but I have started organizing files for that purpose. This community has been very generous to me.

I’m extremely thrilled to see your making of…this entry is the winner hands down. Not to say that there weren’t a lot of great entries, but this one sticks out from the crowd for me. Nicely done!!!

Yes…I am looking foward to the Making Of, as well. Its very good of you to go the extra mile and produce that when you are obviously so busy. You have some stiff competition, but I definately feel like I should be wearing heavy wet weather gear while watching yours.
