My vote goes directly to Shoneveld. I think he is the only one to achived pretty decent results in fx and animation. did anyone else worked with reactor or some plugin for dinamics?.. the others r not bad at all… but this is the best, for me!

powerdan - you has some cool iodeas in there, kind of like Wacky Races or something, but I think you were too ambitous for your level of skill and experiecne, so it doesn’t hang together very well. I think yoi might have been better going for an all cell-shaded look.

Yes it was too ambitious… There is a total of 29 shots… maybe I must only work for this challenge in only one of the shot. I wanted Maya Fluids for the explotions, but the time force me to use Particles, and cant refine them… Im happy because I finnish this, but I belive that I could do it better.

I think I understand that you weren’t going for realism however, working on effects that are even a little closer to real-world effects will help sell this a lot –as would some good sound effects.

Thanks, I think that I did a good job in only one month, I animated the cars for each shot so that’s one of the problems that could see in the speed, also no innertia (no time to refine animation and fix this issue), a very simple particle Fx’s maybe I’ll do a Special Edition With Better VFx and add SFx.

“It was to ambitious” all said that… and its true…

For The Next Challenge I’ll be more focused on the time.

I learn that its better have one Flawless Shot that fulfills the requirements than over 20 average shots, (of course, its better have the 20 flawless ).

–this DID kinda have an Akira feel to it (that’s a compliment). But I did not feel the energy you were trying to project. Very ambitious project; I hope you keep working on it, fine tuning and carrying over the secondary motions and other details that were in the final crash, to the rest of the movie.

Thanks. It was based upon Akira, but not a Akira film. I just used it as a guide.

Thanks for all the votes! I just wanted to clarify that Burke Roane animated the car, I did the rest, I should have added his name in there some where. You might have known that if you were following the progress. I started animating it and then incorporated Burkes help, and I really appricated it. Made the shot really.
