Hey, we are back again for this challenge, and hopefully this time we will get off the mark! 
We are a team of 3 guys studying at Monash Uni in Melbourne. At this stage we are still knocking off the last few commitments at uni before we get a bit of a break, time which hopefully can be put towards this challenge… Anyway, at this stage we are looking at doing the Contemporary Racing challenge, possibly F1 or a Rally?

I’m doing a rally I think it’s better than the f1 b/c you can add in a whole other level of fx, rallys can be in the desert (sand dust) rain mud, snow (I’m doing snow a little harder than rain, well and easier as far as the car interaction. F1 is fun too b/c you can make more explosive crashes. I’m just going to make a really explosive, almost overly explosive rally crash.

Yeah im really leaning towards a rally scene, i think it has more potential for doing some interesting shots and effects, so i think we are looking in that direction…
Modelling will probably start tomorrow some time and then i will also start playing with some ideas for an environment, i also have some storyboards to post tomorrow! cant wait to be able to give this my full attention!
nice, I look forward to your story boards. What kind of environment are you thinking? Are you going to do windshild interaction and wipers? I’m not, well not planned as of now anyway.
ok, well, here is the star of the show, just finishing him off, and finalizing the paintwork… i have also modelled most of the scene for where both the crash and the other crap will be set, ill try to post that up tomorrow. i have also been experementing alot with animating the crupling bodywork when a car hits something, but i have not got very far… i have tryed working with a cloth type simultaion with reactor but it crashes max out every time (wtf!!!) anyone got any suggestions for me? im a bit lost 
i also have a tes i have done for dust and smoke from the tyres of the car, again i will try to post it tomorrow
