Well, this has been such a crunch to finish this.

Everything except the crash has been animated and rendered! So that gives me tomorrow to work on the crash.

I’m off to bed! I promised my girl that I wouldn’t stay up late tonight working on this. :rolleyes:

P.S. Is there anyone who is interested in designing a DVD cover and interactive menu for this thing?

Thanks. Just so everyone knows my entry is based upon a scene from a movie, but I’m going to wait before I say which film because I’d like to know who can guess the name.

Wow! Why is it always at the end you have the most problem. Anyway, I’ve had to render the last 3 shots several times because things keep screwing up. Crashing, target files missing alpha channel, backgrounds being erased, and many others.

Anyway, it’s all finished now. I’m just doing post work such as color correction and some shots required layers.

Will be posting the finished entry most likely tomorrow.

Wow! Great guess!

I was orginally going to do that bike chance from the Matrix. You can see some early images with the girl riding between two trucks.

Sorry, I changed my mind last week when I realized I wasn’t going to have time to do all the cars.

I’ll give you a hint. This film features a very cool motorcycle.

It did (the Milla Jovovich one, not the british television one). She switches on some antigrav thing and rides it on the side of a building… anyway. It was very silly.

Sweet entry, dude. I’m really impressed with what you were able to pull off in such a short amount of time. Real dynamic sense of movement, great shots, editing, and framing. Good job!

Well, I won’t be doing any updates for the next deadline. I just started a new job here in Toronto as a TD for a studio. So I’m busy working 9-5 again. Which is great! :slight_smile:

I wish everyone luck. When I get a chance I’ll render out something special for the voting thread.

I’m not sure what I want to work on next. I’m thinking my website needs some updating, and then after that I’m feeling for some old school character animation. I don’t know at this point if I’ll do it in Maya or Max.

Anyway, I think the next FXWars sounds very interesting.

How did you accomplish the impression of rubber being layed down by the bike tires while braking. Really good animation btw…I especially liked the detailed facial expressions. :thumbsup:
