I just landed a freelance gig though, that’ll keep me 300% busy for a month, so chances are I won’t finish. Still, I’ll give it a shot!

Yes, it’ll be a pirate ship (or similar, from that age), with torn sails and all.

My first step is to model the ship (gathering reference right now).

-Because I know I’ll never completely finish putting the “finishing touches” on the water, so if I start with the water, I’ll never get to working on the ship. :wink:

However, since the water is what the challenge is about, I’ll have to do some darn quick speed modelling, and get the ship over with quick.

First update, the ship… the reference is mainly The Black Pearl from Pirates of the Caribbean, the goal is to have a modelled ship by the end of the day… rather optimistic, perhaps…

Yeah the chinese fishing boat looks nice, but yours is really coming along too! I’m really liking it so far, can’t wait to see more. I love the style of ship you chose.

the model is becoming a real ship more and more every time i see it.

Maybe i will join the wars, just need to find myself some time for it.

This ship is looking awesome :applause: , the stairs and the cannons are looking great, and I love the barrels, just the size of that barrel next to the cannon seems a bit out of scale. Besides that, great work! :smiley:
