Yeah i havn’t rendered foam yet.that’s flickering becoz of reflection.(dunno but noise scale is ok). and it would be cover with foams.
well as judging from reference movie i rarely see any specularity in water.it should be dark blueish with little murky reflection.yeah u r right about contrast on surface.i might darken the water surface in composition.
This is just R&D test.i m still confused what kind of fantasy i should add.
i m not going for ship.
yeah 3ds max has inbuilt shader that can create foams too…check out this pic…
but with different camera angle.
