In the pre-production period ,a movie is designed and planned. The production is [color=white]storyboarded and visualized with the help of illustrators and concept artists.

I want take this period before the official announcement of the NEXT challenge to discuss VERY general ideas how it could be accomplished

So lets begin by announcing the topic…
drum roll please…

So our next challenge be: The Earth Goes BOOM!-

imagine a space shot, of our little blue marble, going BOOM!

And to allow a better flow of ideas I will post no rules. until the official announcement plug.

Interestingly, the past couple of weeks I was wondering how to make a nice effects shot of a disintegrating planet.

I might take a stab at this if I can find the time. :thumbsup:

I’m actually doing something like this. you can see it in my wip thread.
It’s not the earth…but very simmilar :slight_smile:
perhaps it gives you some ideas…
