FXWARS! Tesla - Templa Edhel - VFXSHOT

Ok, I know I may be entering a bit late, anf I have probably thrown the chance for a “best WIP thread” award away, I was just waiting until I had an idea, that I thought was actually workable. And, I now have an idea, and I really hope I can pull it off in time.
~Inspiration~
There is a scene is the Prestige (great movie, watch it for inspiration if nothing else, Tesla is a great character) where Tesla is standing in a field, an behind him, there are rows and rows of bulbs, just stuck in the ground, and lit up.
I want to go for something like that, only show the tesla coil also. And I’m going to make it original.
~Concept/Idea~
So, the clip will consist of 2 shots
-Shot one: A zoom out on the tesla coil, the bulbs and the coil are off. The coil turns on, and all the bulbs light up
-Shot two: This is an aerial pan, flyover of the field, with all the bulbs. I have some video footage from an RC plane, (1080i actually, must have been a big plane) and I will day to night that, and add my bulbs.)
~Work so far~ I started with shot one, because shot two will be relativity easy. I have the tesla coil, and bulbs. Here is a pic. I feel like the light on the ground needs some work, aswell as blender the coil with the background. If I get enough suggestions, I hope to be able to render that out tonight, and add lightning in postpro tomorrow.
