I’m, in for another one.
Tesla FX will surely bring out some interesting results.
I’ve been playing with lightning a bit in Maya. I bought Houdini at Christmas but haven’t developed the skills yet. I tried a bit with L-systems.

Anyway i am going to keep my eye on your entry.
I am going to participate in this contest too. I just have not found the time to start my contest thread.

I love the lightning effect you got there. It looks quite spectacular, how did you achieve it?

Good to see you Gotmilk, I recognized you as well.
I have used paint effects with hours of tweeking. I still have
little control over the bolts yet. I hope to see your thread soon.

I’ve done a little more on the lightning, but have spent most of my time on the setting.
No textures yet.

Nice. An intense and violent powerful lightning. When can we expect to see some animatics :slight_smile: ?

I’m still in. Right after the the challenge started I was recalled back to work.
So Gotmilk I have no time for an animatic. Instead I have a few sketches from work that got me started. I have been using every free minute on this.

It looks like I am out. I lost my rig over the weekend. The powersupply is shot.
I live in rural Ontario and have to drive to Toronto to pick it. Maybe this weekend.
I will still put up what I have done when I am back up and running.

Thanks guys, No chance of getting anything else posted.
The power supply is under warranty so I have to wait on it and my rig is in the shop.
I’ll continue to see how the rest of you are doing. There are going to be a lot of really great entries.

Still waiting for Youtube to upload. I hope it is done before I go to work.
