Yep, im entering late, as always, and i doubt i will finish it either :slight_smile:

just a few questions, if i was to take like a picture with no one in it, and then model the person + put him/her into the pic, would that be breaking the rules?

Basicly i just want to practise modeling, so if i can do that it would be good heh.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hey, welcome to the challenge mate.

The FILMED FX sequence requires that the “hero” character be a live action character.

That’s under the challenge description, but not under the specific challenge or general rules (?), so take that under consideration. I would take the safe side and just use some of the awesome footage the videographers thread has produced.

Single shot means one take or camera position, not a photograph.

no! There is footage for you to use, maybe that wasn’t clear. There is footage on the videographers thread on this forum. It’s up to you. if you just want to model, then thats one thing, or you can help another team out if you want with modeling.

theres not much point really, i wasnt entering this to win, i wasentering it as it gave a purpose to model to.

as it is, i havnt ever animated anything, i havnt even rigged any of my models, the chances of me fitting somthing into a video are very slim :slight_smile:

My modelling skills are…lacking :stuck_out_tongue: heh

So yea, my plan was to just get an image and add to it through renders + PS.

It doesnt matter, ill just sit this one out :slight_smile:
