I like this one the best! it could some long entry and “driveway” into a court yard but i love it! I think i’m going to use this for a refernce! if you could do more detail that would help a ton when it come to modeling this sucker!

Have you seen the photo composition I based my drawing on? it’s HERE, if you want more details I could also send you the original photos…
and also…I was so happy with your post that I did a crappy map of how I had imagined it: MAP
what I drew was supposed to be the back of the castle, with the gate being in the other side, but hey, if you base your entry in mine you are free to do as you want, (or even change it completely)!

I will follow your work if you continue with this idea, you can PM me if you want anything else…

elmasfeo - That would be awesome! that would be alot of help! Thanks for showing me what you based it off and that map! i’m getting a really good view in my head and have some ideas for modeling it already! That makes more sence now knowing that! maybe i can change this view and add a entry and road way to the castle! maybe put a whole in the left side of the wall there where the roadway leads out from so you actually enter the caste from below! i’m thinking thats what i’ll do for an entry way. i dunno though. Thanks for the help! you’re awesome! i’m glad you say that! no one voted for me in the entry but oh well there were some very good people that i knew i wouldn’t stand up against!

Here’s my sketch.
Not really so much concentrating on the castle itself, but rather trying to establish a mood for the scene. I decided to use the scene where the torch carrying villagers ambush castle Frankenstein.

I did two versions and couldn’t decide which one to post so I went ahead and posted both . One has a very plain skyline, while the other has a wierd green fantasy aura around the castle (result from Frankenstein’s experiment maybe?).

nice entries.
Prilly I like the first one best, the blue contrasts nicely with the torches.
Vyse-soa nice one too, maybe a bit chaotic, it misses some focus. But I love the mood.

I felt like doing some maya work again (it’s been a while) and I thought the subject was rather nice, so here goes. The background is terragen. It’s really just a sketch, hope it helps someone.
