It seems a little bit odd to me that the entries that seem to be getting all of the votes for a visual effects war (FXWARS) are entries that actually do not contain any visual effects. Most of the entries are achieved with strictly compositing techniques. There isn’t any rule that states entries must contain some form of dynamics within a 3d engine? If not, why would this be called FXWARS and not COMPWARS? If I had known it was a compositing competition, I would have entered as well. Little did I know, you did not need any form of visual effects to enter (and potentially win) a visual effects war/competition. Just the thought that crossed my mind…
