ok i didn;t posted story or story board yet…

well here u go ::

scene 1 : man found something unknown UFO kind of object burning in the sky.it’s coming towards down to ground ang get crashed on ground.

scene 2 : UFO is burning near the farm of big grass or wheatfield.somehow alien saved himself and walked towards the wheatfield or farm.

scene 3 : next morning he found dead at the centre of crop circle.no body knows how does the crop circle made.and suddenly his body burns out.

scene 4 (not sure that i will show or not ) : showing crop circle from the sky view.

here is just little update::

i added more particles and changed particles color.

yeah i rendered out that animation last night for test purpose.
there r lots of small size of particles.but my system hopefully handeled it.

i did little color correction and added more contrast to that rendered scene.and background image is the image that i m gonna use for this shot.
but this is not final shot.

Thanks sagar…:stuck_out_tongue: i know u can see those legs r being invisible at very last after the fire effect. coz i deleted particles before legs get disappeard.

BTW guys this was just test.i m not sure that i will put exact effect like this.i m still working on it.i m trying to get more realistic fire.and u can see when head gets burned there is not skeleton in the body and even head upper part isn’t following gravity :smiley: :stuck_out_tongue:

just a little update to alien burning shot.

making alien invisible after burning doesn’t look good and real.so i decided to show him totally burned and dead after burning.here is the screenshot from half rendered scene.
u can see that alien isn’t being invisible now but being totally black skinned like coal after burning.(excuse my bad english.)
this is final shot for alien burning.

well here is the almost done 1st scene::

camera shacking is added in max.and lowered down brightness and increased contrass in max to make image little darker for night scene.

I think the shaking camera is very unrealistic, too much shake, very annoying.
You even have the camera shaking before the UFO hits the ground, which is strange too.

I mean, have you ever watched War of the Worlds? There’s some nice large-scale
explosions going on there that doesn’t make the viewer threw up.

I think the camera shake is fine on that update. It gives it a good sense of the scale of the crash.

just little update to alien burn/burst shot…Thanks sriram to give me good alien model!! :smiley:
i also did little color correction.and faked DOF effect in 3ds max and yeah composition is done in 3ds max and color correction in combustion.:slight_smile:

Nice work. The only crit is the effect of the burn and aftermath on the environment. It would be great to get that effect and residue onto the ground. Unless you are trying for a more supernatural phenomena:)

Great work so far, I wish I knew how to create the particle system you have there for the explosion… and the materials for the particles… The alien getting fried was a cool idea too.
