Well I missed out on the Catapult! (Trebuchet) challenge but coincidently I was making a trebuchet for a school project and stumbled across these FXWars and thought that everyone here might like to see how mine turned out.
Although its not textured nor is there a wall getting smashed up, I think it turned out pretty good. There were no keys used (except for baking it out) no keying the releasing mech. All dynamically driven with an expression thrown in at the end to make the entire treb roll forward.

only miner issues are that it seems to roll forward too much, the rope falls threw the high-res mesh due to the difference between the high and low mesh.
This is my first shot at using Mayas dynamics and I had a lot of fun making it. I shall try the next challenge if I think Im up to it.
